Mentor Christian Robotics
The Mentor Christian Robotics team has advanced to one of the top robotics platforms in the nation, the BEST Robotics Regional Championship in Denver, Colorado!! 40 teams and their robots from around the country will compete for the BEST Award in this championship event December 7-8 2019.
Hard working, energetic students and focused mentors developed the MCS Robotics 2019 team robot, named PAL (Programmable Autonomous Lineman), in only six weeks. The MCS team took PAL and their enthusiasm to the BEST Robotics Hub competition held at Penn State University, DuBois PA, and took 1st place in robot and 2nd place in the BEST Award (a combination of Engineering Notebook, Marketing, Robot, and Spirit).

The 2019 BEST theme is called "Off the Grid" and challenges the students to utilize their robot to restore power following a natural disaster. Click this link to read more about the 2019 competition:

HOW YOU CAN HELP
This is an unbelievable opportunity for the students to travel and compete in the field of not only robotics, but in many other facets which will peak potential interest in a future career. The students gain hands-on experience in procuring raw material, engineering design, bills of material, component fabrication, software design, robotic programming, marketing, sales, problem solving, and more.
We are excited to represent Mentor and Northeast Ohio in Denver!! The students and mentors have started improving our marketing and robotics for the competition.
Our team needs additional partnership to help support our trip. There are many aspects to organizing our travel and participation! Please take time to consider how you can partner with Mentor Christian Robotics.
Any type of support is greatly appreciated. We would graciously accept monetary or food donations, and especially prayers.
To donate monetarily, simply click the DONATE button below and follow the instructions. To donate food or any other resources, you can email the robotics team or contact the school.
THANK YOU!!
